Rebecca discovered yoga whilst working in a stressful and unfulfilling job as a lawyer. Not only did it make her feel refreshed and at peace, she found that her body was able to do things it hadn’t done since she was a gymnast at 14! Fascinated by how great it made her feel, she realised she wanted to share all the great benefits of yoga through teaching.
Rebecca completed her 200 hour training with Power Living in 2014. She has since completed a further 200 hours at BodyMindLife in Yoga Therapy, Art of Assisting and Advanced Sequencing with Noelle Connolly and Kat Clayton. She then advanced her teaching with a Yin diploma at In Yoga with Melanie McLaughlan.
For Rebecca, yoga is a way to explore her limits, both physically and mentally. She believes strongly that as we age, our bodies and minds do not have to deteriorate so rapidly, and a consistent yoga practice allows us to keep our ‘yoga glow’ through all stages of life!
Rebecca’s classes are all about gently and playfully testing boundaries. She likes a strong flow to get students out of their comfort zone. There is nothing quite like a well earned Savasana!
